Anyone notice a bright light in the rear-view mirror appearing in the truck bed with the cover closed?
It moves around and comes and goes, it's like a single headlight.
It can be seen in the rear-view mirror or a passenger looking toward the back.

The sun or moon? 😂 joking not joking.
Seriously though, the sun or moon will reflect off the back window. So sometimes it plays tricks with your eyes particularly in the rearview mirror.

Are you sure it is not sunlight coming in from open glass roof, hitting the rear view mirror and bouncing into the back

I think I know what you are talking about, I've thought there was a car behind me at night, when there was not. I've looked at it a few times trying to figure out where it's coming from with no success. It hasn't bothered me enough to spend time trying to track it down.

It was indeed the sun. We were driving into it during the afternoon and going up and down some ridges. At times the angles would just add up to the right viewing point.

The fact that I could actually see and not get blinded it is somewhat a testimony at just how much filtering there is in the roof.
It was definitely blinding me when it came in the front window!

Yes, the one that actually works quite well. When I have my tonneau cover up, I can easily see the things behind me and what the status of my load is. It also allows me to see the back seat passengers.
