Heat pumps are expensive and even after cutting costs in other areas Ford is still struggling to make the Mach-e at breakeven even with the lower cost production in Mexico because they don't have as advanced of production technology as Tesla. A Mach-e uses a lot more hours of human labor and Ford sources a higher percentage of the parts from suppliers - that costs extra money.Ya, I think that could be it.
I have a question here, why didn’t Mach-e or other EV’s just copied or better Tesla since patents were open.
I would suggest you are being more than a little naive here. I was not the one that went on a childish, name-calling rampage. But you do you and I'll do me.It’s good that the older forum members are greeting newer faces with such enthusiasm and friendliness.
I care about your batteries since I do not want to read about you blowing up your car instead of replacing the battery ?When I vote for comfort - I don't care about batteries and so on.
Every Cybertruck I drove does not have any issues you described nor have any reports been published.Come on guys, the OP already made clear, this is a thread strictly limited to discussing Cybertruck build quality issues. Why are we straying from this very important topic?
Personally, I think the gap that contains the headlight bar is not showing any signs of being consistent and I still haven't seen a single example of a dashboard that was even close to being level. Oh, and I challenge you to find a Cybertruck that doesn't have super loud tire hum at any speed above 25 mph. It's unacceptable. If you disagree, prove me wrong!
Please keep your comments narrowly focused on Cybertruck build quality issues!

Yeah, but how many Cybertrucks have you driven? I'm guessing less than one! I've tested every one manufacturered for regular production! I'm telling you, I still haven't found a single one without major build quality issues! It's pathetic!Every Cybertruck I drove does not have any issues you described nor have any reports been published.
Ride is super quiet, floats on a cloud unless you change the suspension settings to feel the road. Also, the CT generates power yielding unlimited range.
Spoiler alert, no brakes, pure regen stopping power. Think of the build cost savings
Pretty sure we tested the same numberYeah, but how many Cybertrucks have you driven? I'm guessing less than one! I've tested every one manufacturered for regular production! I'm telling you, I still haven't found a single one without major build quality issues! It's pathetic!
