Buying CT on secondary Market. Question on Powershare

I will be purchasing an AWD CT next week from the original owner. They love the truck, but they travel too much for their job and don't want to worry about charging in the middle of their day/week. He has not moved forward on Powershare installation. I'm curious if anyone has seen anything on being able to successfully transfer over The Powershare credit to a new owner? It's a feature I want to take advantage of here in Florida, especially with the upcoming hurricane forecasts.
