My truck has developed a very annoying buzzing sound. It’s not a rattle more like a buzz. At first I thought it came from the speakers but it does not. It’s more pronounced at highway speed and seems to come from the left of the driver side. It’s not loud but extremely annoying. Has anyone experienced something similar and if so knows where it might come from?

Not sure if it's the same thing, but I have noticed mine buzzing more lately as well. Temps have dropped significantly, and noise goes away when it warms up. Same noise when I program a supercharger destination as it heats for charging. It had me thinking something was wrong at first, but I think it's just generating heat for the battery with the inverters/motors. The "buzz" seems to change with the motor whine and go-pedal application, not semi-constant like a heat pump compressor. At this point I am considering it normal but will take it in if it gets worse.

Thanks for the input but I do not think that it is what I am experiencing because the sound seem to be induced by a combination of speed and vibrations from the road. I’m sure it must be trim related but can’t pinpoint where it’s coming from.

I have something very similar. It does not occur in the morning but does it later in the day but not every day. Not sure why it is not all the time. Mine is on the passenger side and I think it is in the vertical portion of the A pillar (whatever that is called). I have an appointment with the SC to get it looked at. I am just hoping it does it when I drive with the tech.

My water bottle in the door will cause buzzing from vibration. It probably isn't from the truck.

It sounds like I’m experiencing the same. It’s a buzzing noise, drivers side, maybe from the top forward area of the drivers window. It only happens after driving 30-40 miles and at highway speed. Wind seems to be a factor as well. Took my CT in for service last week and they would t even consider looking at it unless I could go on a test drive and replicate the issue. Didn’t have time for a test drive( would have been nice to know that was needed, even though I sent them a video) when I made the appointment a month ago.

I have a buzzing and am going to submit it for service soon (and the recall work). Mine is the passenger side tweeter cover near where the passenger's head would be. It buzzes maybe 50% of the time. It's really annoying. If I lean over and push on it, it'll stop the buzzing for a bit but it always comes back. I'm sure they'll just reseat or replace the cover and that should fix it. Your problem sounds a bit different though.

If the noise is coming from the A pillar then it’s usually the VC right controller. Amplifier is built in and they can fail.
