My CT driver door doesn’t close properly and I didn’t catch it at delivery and I’ve been trying to schedule the repair but it’s been difficult making it work with my schedule because I don’t live where the CT is located.

Has anyone just dropped in and asked them to fix something?

Last week my wife’s Model Y connectivity board went out and we couldn’t see/control it from the app. I made an appt and the earliest date was a week away so I drove to my local SC and they took it in immediately and I was able to pick up that evening.

Yes, I’ve had an experience where I’ve just pulled in and gotten it taken care of same day. Granted, it was an easy quick fix.

Unfortunately I’m like Bruce Banner when it comes to customer service stuff. I called and they said no. If I show up and they say no then Hulk is gonna make an appearance and I don’t know if I want that… 😂

Generally no. But there have been times when they have.
In some areas Mobile Service is even easier.

But don't walk in demanding it and pissing of the Service Advisor.

So after twiddling my thumbs for half the day I swung by the SC and they took care of it without any hassle at all. It was very impressive. They even set up the parts order for the other stuff and wanted me to leave it for the pedal fix but it wasn’t clear when the parts would come so I was able to at the minimum leave with a functioning door like I wanted and they said the parts order would transfer to whatever SC I end up moving the appointment to. So a good experience!

Great, so you can now see that the Tesla Service is far from the terrible that some on the forum would have you believe.
