Just to get the information out there, assuming this forum has some influence, here is the pricing Tesla needs to get us to come under our new federal (and BC) ev incentive schemes. The single motor base model has to be available for sale at under CAD 60k (approx. USD 45k). The dual motor has to be under CAD 70k (approx. USD 53k). Please have the FSD available as an option to be added for a period after purchase at the price on our initial order so that it is not included in the purchase price.
In return we will provide a Tesla lane at any of our border crossings, similar to what Mexico has done. We will all come down to Austin to pick up our trucks to save on freight. Tesla Canadians will also fend off any trucker convoys to your new Canadian factory. These people seem to hate everything so evs are probably on their list. Elon please help us. Anything else you need? You are half Canadian Ay!
