Chains on/for Cybertruck?

I grew up driving in the Midwest and have never needed chains on any of my 4x4s, but I have always kept a pair in the car just in case the authorities required them. We are going to be doing some winter driving in the Cybertruck this year and there is a very strong chance that we will encounter ‘chains required, except 4-wheel drive w/snow tires’ (which I would be fine with, and much less likely ‘chains required for all vehicles’.

Does anyone have experience or views (hah!) on this?

There is a max speed for these sort of chains (30mph? I have to check) so they are not something you just put on and drive on the highway normally. I have them ready to go for my truck, but I also have dedicated winter tires on them (Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3).

For me chains are a last resort, but an option

Absolutely last resort, and yes 30 mph or less. I would rather have them on hand than not but not if it is ridiculous.
