Charge Port Door Not Opening

Anyone ever see their truck suddenly stop responding to the button pressed on their home charger? Door opens if I do it through the iPhone app, but ignores button presses on the home charging handle. Haven’t tried a supercharger yet to see if the truck ignores that too but will later today. I’ve already done a soft reboot and a full power down and restart…doesn’t fix it.

yep, my other truck did this last winter and now my new truck just started doing it this winter, going to service and they will replace it

Just started happening to me. Charger button and touchscreen in the car don't open it. The touch screen for me actually shows that it is open when it's closed for me and when I get out of the car the charging screen pops up even though it's not plugged in.

I didn't get any notification but there was a service alert for a faulty charge door sensor in the service menu as well as in the app when going to schedule service. I'm going in soon to have it fixed. I'm guessing it has to do with cold weather.

update...I got an alert in the iOS app that the charge port door sensor had a fault. So off to the service center.

My truck just started doing this yesterday. Time to visit the SC.

i had the charger door replaced as it cracked open by a hotel valet, got home and it worked fine (pressing teh button the home charger handle that normally opens the charging door).

as of 3 days ago i noticed it stopped working, only way to open the charging door is through the app.

was it one of the recent updates ?
