While we are waiting for the crazy, polarizing Cybertruck concept to actually be produced, I'm curious to know what other concept vehicles you saw that made you excited about the future but never happened or at least as shown?
For example, I remember watching this episode of Top Gear where they checked out the GM Hy-Wire concept 20 years ago in 2003. It was a hydrogen fuel cell car rather than a BEV but look at the now familiar technology (skateboard architecture, drive by wire, cameras for rear and side mirrors, large windshield, Vehicle to House power, etc.).

Seems like they had a vision of the future. I won't discuss the GM EV-1 which preceded this, but I also remember being enthused about the visually exciting 2007 Chevrolet Volt concept which looked like this:
But, we are all familiar with what was produced:
I guess the wheels, the grill, and the mirrors look.. similar.
