I still wonder how those, and indeed the whole vault, will work when there’s ice and snow around.
Worst case scenario, buttons get frozen over and you use your phone or fob to move it.

Yeah, they just look like they’re positioned in a way that is likely to collect a lot of the white stuff so might be quite a constant thing. Unless they are heated somehow.

Snow is relatively easy of course. Ice less so… Frequently you have to literally hammer it and the buttons look concaved so will be a magnet for ice.

If ice gets between the gaps on the vault cover that could prevent it from working at all, and be very tricky to clear out.

yeah I would be less concerned about snow and ice on the buttons than ice and snow on the tonneau cover and how that effects it functioning.
