For the year to date (1Q to 3Q 2025), Cox estimates 16,097 Cybertruck sales in the US. Troy estimates 17,962 deliveries in the US, plus 680 in Canada.
When the 4Q 2025 numbers are in, both sources will probably have a total for the 2025 calendar year in the 20,000 to 25,000 range.

For comparison, the estimated numbers for 2024 were 38,965 (Cox) and 39,200 (Troy). Those are the US numbers, Troy had another 1,540 in Canada.

For all time, Troy has a total of 59,506 Cybertruck deliveries from 4Q 2023 through 3Q 2025, including Canada. Cox is a bit lower at 55,062, but that's without Canada.

So there are probably around 60,000 CTs on North American roads today. Could get the first Asian deliveries, to South Korea, during the current quarter.

R1S is doing well. Tesla probably needs to look at making a big SUV like that.
I don't think the word "needs" means what you think it does.

Tesla doesn't "need" to make any particular EV, they will invest their capital where they see the best long-term returns.
