I was just there. My wife and I drove over from Orlando. The Cybertruck is AWESOME in person. Even though I get to look at a stainless car every day, it looks to me like you're looking at alien tech.
I had a great chat with the employees.

I've seen that, too, but the panel alignment is not great in this one. I didn't take photos about it, but the tailgate was super unaligned. Other than that, it's an impressive beast for sure!

Checked it out as well, employees couldn’t say anything or didn’t know any of the questions I was asking. Not surprised.

Will definitely need to find out if the height of the truck can remain in the higher position while getting in the truck. I’m 6’6 and I could easily see over the highest point and am trying to make sure I can comfortable get in and out in entry mode.

Huh. That's not the impression I walked away with. For one of the first trucks off the line, this one had great panel alignment.

I didn't notice any misalignment on the tailgate, at least one that stood out. I left my micrometer and tape measure at home though.

I tried using the order sheet to see when I should be getting mine, but I did not get any conclusions.
With the Model Y, I will have a chance to learn more while Tesla fixes the bugs on the first released CTs.

Maybe it was just improperly closed then? My first impression was that the other CTs in other showrooms looked better than the one in Tampa.

I'm not worried about quality, though, the other showroom pieces looked pretty nice, by the time we get them, I think these things are going to be perfect.
