I’ve had my truck for a few weeks and just had the wrap and tint completed. Pure PPF frozen satin black. Looks smoooth. They used 72” roll of 70% on windshield and did an awesome job. 20% windows. Americo and the guys at Get in Detail Southington CT did an awesome job and great to work with. If your in CT and are getting your CyberTruck you won’t go wrong. Worst part was having to drive my model S while waiting for it. I love my S, but the CT spoils you quickly on going back to traditional steering etc.

Looks great!

Funny, I had a similar exchange with my wife the other night. She wanted to take the model s and (accidentally) I said out loud "we're taking that?". She just looked over with 'the look'.

Your correct though, I feel like I am dislocating my shoulders when I use a regular steering wheel.

lol. My wife laughed at me as my hands looked like a hamster on a wheel. I laughed too. I couldn’t understand why it felt so ridiculous.

Looks great. Congratulations! Question: Did you explore vinyl versus PPF and, if so, why did you go PPF. I was heavily leaning PPF, but a shop I'm considering actually suggested vinyl despite them potentially making around $3K more from me if I went with PPF (which they offer). His preference is based on durability and longevity of the wrap at the edges. He also suggested I could get it wrapped in vinyl twice for the price of PPF. There's no objectively right or wrong answer here, just a couple of cool choices I'm trying to decide between. Thanks for any insight based on your analysis and experience.

sorry, I just saw this. This is my first experience with a wrap. But in my research and current experience, I went with ppf over vinyl because of the durability. Ppf is thicker and will self heal small scratches and swirls. This is a daily driver for me and my understanding is vinyl will last maybe 2 or 3 years and be prone to fading and chipping. I know you can wrap twice for the cost of ppf. But why? And it’s not like it gets to 3 years and one day fails. It degrades and looks bad leading up to needing replacement so you are driving for a while with faded or damaged wrap. Those were my reasons for doing ppf. I want it to look good for as long as possible with as little worry as possible. Good luck with what ever you choose and enjoy this awesome truck!

Thanks for the feedback. I still haven't decided, but need to do so quickly. I'm picking my Beast up in 1.5 hours! :O
