CT does not stay locked.

It also no longer locks when I walk away. I have to manually use the app to lock the door but I can leave my phone 200 ft away, walk up push the button the truck just opens up! I don't know how long it has been doing this. Up until a few days ago, It had been locking when I walk away but yesterday I noticed that it did not lock. I can open any door, the tailgate and the tonneau cover, I didn't even try the trunk but I bet that opens also. I have it set to lock when I walk away.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure blue tooth is on for walk-away lock logic to work.

Without Bluetooth you should still be able to verify the lock status and change it with your phone.

Do the mirrors unfold as you approach? If so, something is triggering that you are there. If they aren’t folding, then it’s not really locked.

My car is on the other side of the country right now but I can still lock and unlock it with my phone.

Mine die this to me on Saturday when we went to see Twister in 4DX. I guess after 10 or 15 minutes I received an alert that my doors were unlocked for an extended period of time. I was taken back because obviously I had my phone on me, and there’s no other phones linked to the truck.

I didn’t change anything on the settings and went back yesterday to see Twisters and it locked like normal and I was in the same parking spot, so I’m not sure what’s up.

I believed this happened one other time to me several weeks ago, but I wrote it off as a one-off.

Something’s definitely is off but I’m not sure if there’s a pattern to figure out what’s causing it.

This used to happen to my Model Y all the time where the windows refused to roll up (maybe because I drove with them part way down for the dogs) and I'd get a notice that the car wasn't locked. I would have to recalibrate the windows and then it would work for a while. I wonder if something similar is happening with the Cybertruck. In the Model Y case Tesla was never able to fix it. They 'thought' they fixed it but no.

I *think* i fixed it. I did NOT turn it on but easy entry was on somehow, I turned it off and it seems to be locking every time now. I will update this tomorrow to see if there will be ANY time that it does not lock.

Before I fixed it, I left my phone far far away and went to the truck and it unlocked and opened. The tailgate and tonneau cover opened also. The truck was locked manually since it did not lock when I walked away and the mirrors were folded in.

I am going right now to see if it still does that.
Nope. It locked and does not open. Easy open is bad.

I had to have two door controllers replaced. One door wouldn’t open and I would constantly get a door open error. Walk away door looks wouldn’t work

But I thought it was a particular liberal that started the whole 'putting chips in people' scare... Didn't hear anything about Elon talking about government 'chips' from the vaccines... Just that he wants to(eventually) make cyberchips available to anyone else...

This was happening to me as well. I took it into service and they played with it for a half day and couldnt figure it out. They passed it on the the software team. Please report these to service so they are aware and can escalate to the teams to fix.

SOMEHOW, turning off "Easy open" seemed to solve the issue. It has not happened once since I shut it off. I wonder if it was turned on with the last update? I would go and take a pic but I got stung by a bee when I was going to the truck to go to the store to get cortisone for the poison sumac/oak. It's been a hell of a week..so the bees have hijacked my truck. Bastards
