Ctmods vault divider

Just got mine and it’s aweful. Doesn’t fit even after adjusting. The latch thing is also broken I guess. Debating whether to just trash it and use a simple net or try to return it, which will cost me shipping and restock fees etc etc.

Anyone have this crmods product and got it working? Any issue with the latch?

Oof this is not good to hear. I’ve been tempted to purchase the CTMods divider in hopes it would make it easier to fit into the L tracks but couldn’t bring myself to do it since I’ve already purchased the Tesla version.

Would you mind sharing some pictures of yours and the issues you’re having?

Think I broke this latch. Instructions say to “fully open” it and shows a pic as if it’s hinged on one end. It is not. Seems I opened it too “fully”. This may be why the ends aren’t fully extending. Guess I found the chink in the armor

There’s also no way to tell which end to open. Just a bad design IMO. And they mean lift not “open”. No way to tell which side they’re lifting in the illustration.

So now the lid just broke off. I was able to get it back into position but the stress of all this was too much for the “metal”. I must be Hercules.

that looks like some really cheap stuff if you broke it by just 'opening' it. I can beat the hell out of the Tesla one. Just sayin'

It broke off from trying to open it..”fully” which warped it. Then trying to get it to sit back flush stressed it. I’m thinking the ends were delivered in a fully closed position which caused the flap to not move the ends—making me thing o needed more force than needed. It’s not a complicated setup. I don’t know. It’s just gross how much money I wasted on it. That is some sort of cheap alloy “metal” used on a critical piece.

Good to hear about Tesla one being better. I think ctmods is Chinese. Wonder if Tesla is too. Does the current one work well with bed mats?

Looks like the same POS as the Tesla one someone on here did it was “redesigned” and fits now so I sent a video of mine to Tesla shop and they send me me a new one. Sure enough it was the same damn size and problem. Just caused me more head ache to wrap the old one up and ship it back to them.
