Here in Washington it's not so costly. Between $70 and $130 for the initial plate and then an extra $50 per year for renewal.

I always figured it was cheaper to just get a bumper sticker.

How do you get plates without a vin# ?
Are you buying them for your current truck and then transfer when you get your CT?

Yes; this is mostly a "DITTO" to Jeff Rock's posting #211.

See my own post #193, on page 13 (Sept. 16, 2020).
I have Minnesota's "CYBRTRK" on my (for sale) "Garage Queen": 1973 Chevy C10 Suburban (~78k miles).

Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody knows where can I order the plastic license plate to stick on my baby instead of metal ones. I saw it on a car near my house ones. Just don’t want to poke holes in the bumper. ? I'll leave the image of what Im talking about attached.

I don't think Ontario has rules about HOW the plate is affixed. There's a new breed of adhesives that you can surely use (at your risk if it gets knocked off).

Hard to believe that some cars don't come with provisions for mounting a front plate.

They sell a removable license plate holder so you can pop it on and off when needed. I am told they are good quality and last.

Our Model 3 came with provisions. It was in the trunk.

Just read that Rode Island tried to cancel a Tesla owner's FKGAS.

It's apparently being appealed because everybody knows that electricity can be considered fake gasoline.

I think the appeal will fail unless there is a precedent in another state where it won the appeal.

I think there was a person in California that sued and won not to far back with DMV on his rights on freedom of speech. I think he won too. When I read about that, i instantly went on line and made an attempt on a personal plate that was denied to me months back. It went through So, I’m hoping it will go through the rest of the way and prepared for it as well if it is denied a second time. It is not vulgar in any way. you would think given the fact it’s California or even Canada that there would be no
Problem unless it blatantly reads as vulgarity.
