Cyber Beast in Automatic Car Wash

I have noticed while having my Cyber Truck being cleaned in car wash.
I have the 20" wheel covers on the truck and the lower guides on the car wash removes the wheel cover.
This has happened three times and if you don't notice it you will just drive off.
I have to go back to the wash operator and explain to him that i lost a wheel cover.
They have to walk the wash and retrieve the wheel cover.
They will just push back on .
The wash does a great job and windshield has no streaks that I can not achieve when I manually try to wash truck.

Correct, you will not be able to use those type of car washes. Best are Touchless..

Not worth it for like 2% efficiency. Ditch the covers

They scratch your rims anyway.

I use Mikes automatic carwash with covers on and have never had a problem

I've had a wheel cover come off in the wash. Upon closer inspection, there was a faulty clasp on the wheel cover. It's since been replaced and hasn't been an issue since. I've washed it maybe 100 times in the car wash.

I took the full covers off and went with center caps, looks better imo.

And I drive through the full car wash (not touchless) every week w no problems! I removed the “hub caps” on day 1 and think it looks much better

I have been using an automated car wash for more than a year with no issues..... BUT.... the truck came out of the track twice.... and they had to stop the car wash, and I had to drive out.... Apart from that issue, it is picture perfect....

Ha! Make sure your steering wheel is straight once aligned with the track?

Yes those rear wheels even a slight bit turned will get pushed out of the track.

My local carwash can just do the power blasters and no brush, but still moves along the track.
Other brushless are stationary where one pulls in and the car is blasted all around while you are parked no brushes. Is it as clean as a brush system? Depends on how dirty the truck is.

I have had no issues. Truck even pulls up to gate stall waits plate reader to read. Gate lifts up, and it turns into following the curve into the car wash. Asks if one wants to put in carwash mode. All on FSD.

My truck looks so clean, and it is stainless steel. You could wash it daily for a decade and the steel will still be there. Hey some people like to baby the truck and make it a garage queen. Enjoy doing that if you like to do that kind of stuff. I enjoy mine.
