Cyberbeast Delivered 9/14/24 with Wheel Covers (Installed Carelessly)

Absolutely thrilled to have my delivery today after a false delivery date set one week ago. Spent most of the week shopping winter tires and second set of wheels since Goodyears are MUD & SAND. Delivery was totally anti climactic. I drove off to a neaby shady parking lot and rotated the wheel covers because if you don’t align the wheel covers with the tire properly, the same damage to the sidewall will occur. Once aligned with the debossed notches in the tire sidewall, the new covers ride clear of any contact with the sidewall.

Same experience when I picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Boneheaded 100% no brain cell was used. I think a monkey could tell that the notches are suppose to line up. It's not that hard to install these.

Apparently, the tires are not lasting enough so any damage done by the wheel covers should be negligible. True or not?

The exact same thing happened to me today during my delivery…the first tesla rep said that he was afraid to touch them to try to fix because he might “break them”, Smdh. Luckily a second rep overheard & quickly took over & fixed it

It's pretty shameful someone could be so unobservant as to install them like that. Good help is hard to find these days. Looks beautiful though, all except for the out of alignment wheel covers!

I agree that it really shouldn't be so hard, I think they're making the weed too strong these days.

True, tire treads were zero by the time I got the truck home from the delivery! Lol.

Trust me, when you get yours, you will be glad. There’s something about these that set the truck apart from the pack, other than the fact that there is a tangible ufo factor with the shape, quietness and metallic factor.
