I got my truck back from service last week and sometime when I picked it up it showed low range with a decent charge. I had some regenerative braking issues along with a few other errors. They said it was the ABS controller. I also had the winter tire package installed.I assumed they reset something and the computer needed to relearn the range. But after driving it a few times and even doing a 100% charge, it did not increase like it should have.
I called Tesla Service yesterday afternoon and he sent the issue to their software guys so they can remote into the computer and see what was going on. I got a call 2 hours later saying it is taken care of, and it is a rare issue from switching over to a different set of tires.
He did inform me that the winter tires are heavier than the all-season tires I had on previously so I will probably see a range adjustment, but not to the extent of what it was.
