Curious if the running boards interfere with jack locations if a tire needs to be serviced or replaced.

How is the wind noise and how much range do you lose with these on?

So... Is this product aimed at CT owners who don't know how to configure Entry Height?

This product is redundant, now that the step up problem has been solved by active suspension and Entry Mode.

This is like putting saddle bags in the trunk of your Model T. Think forwards, not backwards. Leave these kinds of aftermarket solutions to last gen problems with the last gen.

If this thread is the actual manufacturer, then here are the things we actually need:

1) Replacement midgate that folds, like on the Silverado EV
2) Replacement removable midgate window
3) Mirror Delete Package
4) One Piece brush bar (like you see on cop cars) with integrated winch system with optional over-the-roof pulleys, so you can use the front bumper winch to pull stuff up into your bed
5) Replacement Tailgate with the Multiflex feature, like on the Silverado EV

I fully expect these features to come on CT refresh, but until then, these are the only real aftermarket parts we actually need.

Hi Lee,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I can tell you that we are developing some of the products you mentioned, and you will see us continue to release more new products in the future.

Many people share your opinion about running boards, but over time, many change their minds and decide to purchase this product for their families. They find it convenient in certain situations and appreciate the aesthetic enhancement it provides to their vehicles. We have numerous car owners who have previously bought running boards and have expressed high levels of satisfaction with their quality and various features!

We haven’t tested the exact impact on range yet, but the lightweight design suggests it will be minimal. As for wind noise, there is nothing to worry about, our design process ensures that aerodynamics are carefully considered to eliminate this issue.

You realize that there are short people in this world that do like CTs, not to mention those with knee/leg issues that this product is beneficial to? Or you just don't give a shit.

Some real world accurate numbers done by some independent reviewer that back these claims would definitely inspire some confidence. Also, is there a measurement of new ground clearance at lowest height setting?

Also, how do they look/catch mud and dirt in mild off-road conditions. Especially in the underside and in the corners and crevices. These are expensive and we don't want to see alternative problems for solving one problem. Any real tests with videos would be great.

Speak for yourself. Just because in your world it is not needed does not mean it is redundant.

Like others have pointed out, there are short people in this world. For example children or even my parents have a difficult time getting into the truck with “entry” since there are no grab handles to pull you in.

I don't mean door handles. I am looking for grab handles that can be useful while getting in and out of the car and also during turns and brakes. Very useful in off road conditions also when the truck rolls left and right due to terrain. Something like these.
