CyberTent (Basecamp) reviews / impressions?

I am curious about the Cybertruck Basecamp. I remember seeing it would ship at the end of January and I was wondering if anyone got it. I would like to see some reviews before throwing down $3k. Thanks

I don't think there are any in the wild yet, like you waiting on some reviews to come in, especially videos.
Going to need to be just about perfect to justify the price tag but am curious to see it.

Already tried to buy it, but you have to “own” a Cybertruck or Tesla won’t even sell it to you. (RN number is not “ownership”)

I’m a 12/8 reservation so when ever I get my truck I’m buying it.

From some of the pictures that I've seen, it appears as if the tent floor is raised off of the bed floor by a foot or so. That confuses me.

I'm also a little leery about how much space it uses in the bed and how much, if any, is permanently mounted. I believe that Service Center installation is required.

Service center installation required? That can't be correct can it?
I would think the demographic of people who would want this would definitely not want to take it in to have it put in/out.

I've been looking at this myself and was able to discerne a few things.

It mounts to the L-Track and sits right on top of the track in the front half of the bed when closed. The tonneau closes over it. When opened, it runs the length of the bed on top of the L-Track with legs that rest on the open tailgate - making it about 7-ish feet in length. It appears to fold open in three sections.

By sitting on top of the L-Track, this leaves the lower space in the bed open for storage - and (it appears) access to the smugglers bin. The tent floor sits on top of L'Track brackets when opened (looks like two on each side).

As it mounts to the L-Track - it should be relatively easy to remove (just a guess at this point). Also up for guessing is the closed size (looks like about a third of the bed).

The last Basecamp video does give you a better idea of some of these items.

The poles of the main room are inflatable (includes the pump). Only the poles for the entry fly are aluminum.
