I was on a Sunrise Bicycle ride this morning and I came up with an idea, while maybe silly to some I thought I would start a Cybertruck Delivery Day resolution and setting some personal goals to follow until the day my Cybertruck arrives, (your Delivery date does not have to be the end of your journey, but you/we could be in a better position by then).

So, when I got home, I googled New Years Resolution and came up with this.

Chances are, more than a couple of the top 10 most common resolutions will look familiar to you:

  1. Exercise more
  2. Lose weight
  3. Get organized
  4. Learn a new skill or hobby
  5. Live life to the fullest
  6. Save more money / spend less money
  7. Quit smoking
  8. Spend more time with family and friends
  9. Travel more
  10. Read more
Also, I will add a link to the article I read at the bottom,

(I am not using this Forum to Preach AAA or to stop any bad habits, but I think this could be a fun way to get through the pain of waiting for our delivery Day)

Now I realize some of you are not in need of any new goals or extra discipline in your life, and some of you will be getting your Cybertruck a lot sooner than others, I am personally down the list a bit, so if you are like me maybe we can follow through with this and it could be not only helpful but fun.

Seeing that at this point we have no idea when the Deliveries are going to start it could be a surprise as to when you/we start a resolution. I personally like that idea because Monday's have been a broken record for years in my life and I think the excitement of finally being able to tell everyone I know that has been saying the Cybertruck will never happen is going to be an extra special Day and a perfect time to start.

I don't know where this is going to go but hopefully it helps someone besides just me.

When I get my first CT order I think one of my resolutions will have to be spend less time reading and writing posts on cybertruckoenersclub.com ;) ;)

But after that I'll probably join the robotaxi/model2 forum as well.

Last time I did a sunrise bike ride, I made a resolution. I resolved to sleep in more often. Which ended any sunrise anythings!

No disrespect meant to you Tom. I'm just not a morning guy. I also have strong beliefs about how I live my life. And that is every day, all day. Not just the beginning of the year, or until something happens.

I appreciate your reply and while I am very responsible at most things in my life but others not so much, also I have come to realize time is flying by very quickly at my age like my dad told me it would.

Tom,

Looking at your profile picture, you are obviously a man of great intellect and unquestionable taste. We all have a few things to work on, and I'm darn near the front of that line. Your dad and mine were right, and wise, and I hope I can be even just a fraction of the man my father is.

Where are you in Florida? I'm out there a few times a year.

Clearwater, and I see you have a Porsche, the one I put up in my profile picture is one I wish I would have kept in my collection, a 1994 911 Carrara 4 factory widebody with 28K miles it was an awesome car and it made me appreciate the Porsche Brand.

Next time I'm in Sarasota, I'll try to drive up and buy you the beverage of your choice.

Good luck losing weight while kicking smoking, although lungs make exercise easier.

I got off tobacco by switching to vaping, and have been slowly reducing the nicotine to almost nothing. It's more of an oral fixation at this point.
