Hey everyone,
I tried to do a somewhat controlled efficiency test at 80mph. Checkout the video and the data at the end. I followed up with the same test but with the tonneau open, so that video should be up soon as well (will add it to this thread). All insights and criticisms welcome :)

Test conditions and vehicle settings:
Ambient temps: 48F - 52F
Wind: 1 - 3 mph
Tire Pressures: 50 psi
Cabin temp: set to 68F (heated/cooled seats/steering off)
Drive mode: Custom (chill, relaxed, lower)

Update 1:
Here is Part 2:

Result:
About 8% difference.

Maybe add to your post the test conditions:
- outside temp
- tire pressure
- inside temp setting
- mode setting (my not be applicable on a steady speed)
- ?

You did good relatively speaking. I'm still surprised by how much energy it takes to move the CT vs my TMX.

M/kwh 1.7, damn physics.

Good to see this velocity as this rate is typical in my area.

Something might be wrong with your truck, took you almost 1.5 minutes to get to 80 at the start of your journey 😜

and that's why I drive the speed limit. I got 340w/h usage at 65 on a 132 round trip yesterday. on that 99 got pulled over 3 times going 80 a few years back over a 2 year time period. That's my luck so, honkers go around nicely don't cut me off, don't brake check me because I'll be in the right lane going speed limit or less saving that DOUGH. Peace to all.

but if the speed limit is 75mph where you live....aka the only freeway near me....then looking like high 4XX / low 5XX....again, it'll do but ill have to slow down (normally 80-90mph) and not use car pool lane.

This is on TX-130 which goes right by the Austin gigafactory
A good chunk of TX and places out west are like that, if your doin 65mph on those roads someone is going to slam into the back of you.

Haha... just getting used to filming and driving

A related observation; the cybertruck is definitely the easiest vehicle to drive one handed once you get used to the steering.
