That ain't no bench. Look at the seat bolsters in front of the seat belt.

Now, if by "bench" you mean a single piece seating installation, without splits, maybe. But this pic doesn't explain it one way or another.

That looks like a bench with a fold down backrest in the center. For cupholders and center armrest. My Avalon has that, with a small access door(8"x6") to the trunk. Maybe big enough for some ski's but not much more.
