It's definitely going to depend on people's preferences, but people also have the option to just wait a bit and get the Cyberbeast for a cheaper price.

215 kWh battery to have 80 miles more range than the 122 kWh Cybertruck. With my current 48 amp charger, it would take 19 hours to charge the Hummer and over 10 hours to charge the Cybertruck.
This is definitely something people need to understand when it comes to the Hummer EV and Chevy Silverado.

If you constantly need a bit more range, basically needing more than the Cybertruck has but less than what these other options have, it could be a great option. But for long drives and road trips, a bigger battery will likely turn into longer charge times. It will depend on charge curves and wh/m, but bigger battery doesn't mean better.

You could even see this comparison between the Model 3 and the Cybertruck. The Cybertruck has significantly larger battery, but the range is almost the same. Even if the Cybertruck had an extra 20 miles, the model 3 will likely finish a long drive earlier than the Cybertruck due to the short charge times.

CT should meet/improve turning radius when they enable 10* rear steering as they're supposed to do (vs. 3* at present). Believe the CT braking distances are shorter and have to believe it handles better given he 2-3k weight diff....all depends upon what you prioritize!

I've heard from reviews that the Hummer is quite noisy due to the removable roof and AT tires.

It seems as of the PowerShare equipment may be missing on the Hummer.

AutoPilot, Enhanced AutoPilot and FSD on all roads vs Super Cruise.

If you are going to compare the Cybertruck with it's "20k Premium" then it tends to make sense to include those things that are actually included.
Because other way the Beast is $15k cheaper than the Hummer EV.

Not a tough choice at all once you find out the Hummer EV is much less advanced hauling around much heavier battery weighing 2600lbs more than the Cybertruck, or 9500lbs total. The Hummer EV costs a lot more to operate, has inferior performance compared to the Cybertruck, and will take nearly twice as long to charge for that inferior performance. It might get slightly more range, but at a cost in many other areas. Considering the Hummer EV's inferior software, lack of integrated NACS charging, extra weight and operation cost, inferior performance - I don't think a Hummer EV is worth much more than half the price of a Cybertruck. But to each their own.

Plus you got the turning radius of the cyberbeast totally wrong, as it's less than a Model S which is less than 20½ feet, not 43.5. Likely you saw 'turning circle' in the owners manual but that's not turning radius. Elon has stated more software adjustments to the rear wheels will make the turning radius even tighter in the future. Could be some limited crab walking too if Tesla allows it in software, as the hardware is already in the Cybertruck. Good visuals on colors with the superior specs, but need to get them right.

This all assumes you have a CB FS option and the hummer delivery being eminent without a markup. Otherwise its 120k vs 200k with dealer markup.

where did you get the approach/brakover stats for the Ct?

I haven’t seen any reliable info on that, but would be glad to know it

Ps: your ground clearance stat for CT appears incorrect, and probably misleading:

Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck CB FS vs Hummer EV 1705288354177

the highest “real” setting is 14”

it goes to 16” inches only in extract, which basically isn’t a standard or often useable height setting

I don’t know anything about the Hummer to know if it also has a nearly unusable “emergency” height setting that you’re comparing to - but if so, it should state 16” for the CT (or 14” otherwise)

Hummers are available on dealer lots at this time, 3 sitting there a mile away from my house. Both the truck and the suv too, I just wish they weren’t so awful looking. Slightly cool sometimes, but mostly gaudy. Like, why ship this thing with 22” wheels 😂 and it’s just so over styled. I love the original h1, but the hummer ev design team got far too much influence from the suburban based h2.

Did you see Jason Camissa ? “Hummer EV is the poster child of inefficiency” and efficiency matters most. Go watch the portions he talks about bloat. Then again you can buy a pig on wheels I suppose. Or go Usain Bolt. Both will get you there. 😀 oink oink
