Cybertruck Center Console Docking Station - Install Article and Video

Just got one myself and at least mine doesn’t have great fitment . Passenger side has about a 3/16” gap at the top and the driver side panel you can see right through it where it meets the side of the center console. Will be returning mine as these annoy me way too much. Would also be so much better if it was metal instead of plastic especially at its current price.

If it is fully attached and has that kind of gap something must be wrong, possibly a defective unit where the attachment points were not formed correctly in the molding process? As shown in my video one side (drivers because I installed passenger side first) was tilted outwards until I installed the hardware which immediately snugged it up to the factory center console and there is zero gap. If you have a gap then either the screws aren't tightened all the way or something is wrong with where the screws go in, hard to say without looking at it, but hopefully they will exchange the unit for a different one. Sorry to hear this happened but hopefully better luck with the next one!
