Cybertruck Giga Press Moulds Have Arrived In Texas Factory!

I tracked the first few in early December, but forgot to post this. Now, more showed up on Monday!

Peep these weights!! Notice the pair of weights? I think THOSE are Cybertruck front / back moulds in pairs. Can't imagine what a mould would cost to make...

The pieces are quickly all falling into place. Here’s to hoping that although hiccups are inevitable, they’re quickly solved and some forum members can actually get their trucks by year end.

We dont(?) but this is a total of EIGHTEEN press moulds arriving. The first ones I track I believe have already been appearing, those were back in December

Eighteen is an interesting number of molds for existing model Ys, maybe 3s starting soon in Texas? But even then............... if 6 sets(12 pieces) of moulds we for existing vehicles.. there's still a number left over for presumably the Cybertruck. Austin makes 2 things, currently, that we are aware of. 1 product line for an incoming Cybertruck program, and Model Y's.

Keep in mind, the molds are wear parts. I’m not sure how many it takes to wear them down, but after a certain number of uses, they need to be replaced.
