I will tell you I have two Cybertrucks on order, since the unveiling it was a lot of excitement and researching everything I could find over the yearrrrssss. But at this point I’m just not as excited anymore. I guess the long ass wait, I hope it won’t be like buying a new gun, some kind of new expensive electronics or a new motorcycle. Like once you have it you loose interest, who knows I’m just saying will the wait live up to all the hype. I guess it’s a gift for the man who has everything. Which I have plenty of, we will see

As a famous internet psychologist I am here to help you.
What you had is called lust.
What you need is love, build a relationship which results in the release of oxytocin which will addict you and you will become a cyber junky.
Love is kind, it does not boast.... Would Jesus get a CT? Obviously... Think of all the crosses he could carry.

Excitement will rekindle once acquired. You are in the acceptance phase on waiting for production.

There is a known issue, early reservation numbers cause depression. If 5 digits or less, cancel for health reasons.

I feel similarly about my Rivian reservation (4 years of waiting as of now) but somehow I’m still thinking the CT will be worth the wait (supercharger network is a huge plus for me).

I ordered the truck because I need the truck.

I’m as excited as the next guy, but fundamentally, its a truck. After you’ve taken it a few places, drag raced a few Corvettes, taken it off road a few times, utilized the back seat and the various other locations… It’s just going to be a truck.

I love my Model Y. Still enjoy driving it every time. The Cybertruck will be no different. But in the end, it’s a truck…. Not going to change your life when you get it. You will definitely have the satisfaction of knowing you have the most bad-ass truck on the road for quite some time to come.

But when you are going to the hardware store to load up on bricks or whatever, it’s not going to be that different from any other truck.

Lol "it's just a truck" and won't change your life, is the silliest thing I've heard all week, especially from someone who posts more here than the next 3 in the list combined... 😝 do you really think I would have invested 2600 posts worth of my time, in intricate detail and numerous TLDR posts, providing all the information you need to change your life to the better otherwise?

Ah yep! 🤣

CT is optional, but unifying, it's all about the journey and who you meet along the way. 😘

I post when I’m bored. I don’t watch TV. :ROFLMAO: ….

I nerd out on things… doesn’t mean I expect them to be forged by the lady in the lake and quenched in unicorn blood.

I'm here to learn and share, mostly when I can multi task it. It's good to keep your mind pencils sharp, and around here in the big blue yonder, Tesla is not a common subject that many are interested in talking about, or know in detail.

Mostly the same. Or at least I kid with myself that I can multi-task. Lots of posting while waiting for other things.

In my eyes, the final truck isn’t the interesting thing. How the truck will affect the world around it is much more fascinating than a truck. For example, what happens to GM and Ford if the Cybertruck delivers on it’s promises?

Tesla didn’t promise the sun and the moon, they promised an affordable electric truck. To me the end consumer, it’s maybe 30-50% more awesome than a regular truck. The effects it will have on the industry will be far reaching. We’re very likely witnessing the end of an era. The iPhone ended a 15 year run by a few relatively mid-sized industry and turned it into an empire.

Tesla is very likely ending multiple empires and over 100 years of dominance on a global scale. It is… incredibly fascinating.

In 3 years I’ll likely still love my Cybertruck, but it will be a day-to-day thing. What we are witnessing is once in a lifetime. Incredibly fascinating to see the details.

See… nerding.

Im bored with the wait and annoyed with elons unwillingness to share more info so late in the game but i also feel tesla is the only ev im willing to purchase at the moment so i don't have much choice.
Serious question here.

What if there is little to nothing more to share?

People keep assuming there is some other shoe that will drop. But what if the truck is literally just exactly what they promised plus 4WS and a couple other doo-dads they’ve mentioned?

I don’t think there are a ton of secrets left to reveal. We know roughly when production starts. Nobody (including Musk) knows exactly how the ramp will go. I think the only secrets left are trivial.

Starting on a cold morning will be nice too.
