Very cool. Thanks for posting, greggertruck!

Here's my thoughts on the RC Engineering Prototype car.

I'd be satisfied by the panel gaps and build quality stuff I can see on the photos and video. I'm sure that will be fine on the production trucks.

In my industry an engineering prototype is just that - not a production article. We built the EPs for Requirements Validation and Performance Testing as well as production methods verification for ourselves and our subcontractors. We gave those a serial number with a unique identifier so we could make sure we never delivered them to our customers.

Someday the last operational RC Cybertruck should be a treasured piece of industry history; I hope they save at least one from the junk pile.

Also, I could hear a blinker sound in the Tundra-wrap video. Weirdly, that sound, which must have been from the videographer's car, was in sync with the Cybertruck's turn signal lamp flashing. Could the videographer's car been a Tesla with the same turn signal technology as that being used in the truck?

all builds to date are precisely that

and will also be true of additional builds for the near term

anyone who suggests otherwise has bad information or bad intentions

Well you're just assuming that "RC" means "Release Candidate". What if it means "Remote Control", or "Really Cute", or ummm "Ready...for umm to be Completed"??!? You don't know.

Maybe they've started taking advertising

*normally* I would’ve assumed it meant my initials, and that the truck was built for me and being driven to my house for delivery tomorrow

fortunately, the fine print saved me from that expectation

The flat surfaces everywhere on the Cybertruck is going to open up so many creative and cool wrap / vinyl / sticker ideas!

And graffiti and other art.

I doubt i will go ahead with it, but I did consider having the artistic members of my family use the CT as a canvass.

Then I could go off with RV. Would be cool or a disaster, lol.

If the CT takes off, I do see potential for personalization... like tattoo's. Not far fetched to see tattoo artists applying their art onto CT's
