We ran a 105.6 mile loop-style test in cold, rainy conditions. The video shows the results at the mid-way point and at the end of the test. Incredibly, Cybertruck AWD with the all-terrains (and wheel caps) on a cold, rainy day outperformed EPA estimates for normal, dry, mild conditions which is incredible. Oh, I should also mention I have two crossbars mounted which should only be reducing my efficiency and range. If you don't mind watching and liking/subscribing I would appreciate it, working on a first contest for subscribers so anyone signed up as a subscriber will be eligible.

Nice video.
Just the facts, and no need to watch 2+ hours of me driving around - though I suspect that helps juice the ad revenue for a certain Kyle Conner ;-)

If you think that's being a range monster, try cruising scenic rural roads with no traffic at 40 mph. You can put the Dual Motors rated range of 320/340 miles (depending upon tires/wheels) to shame!

One of these days I'm going to try to hit 560 miles on the same charge. At 40 mph that's a ridiculous 14 hours of non-stop driving without a charge stop! Range anxiety, my ass!

Trip projection is simply that - a projection. It's only as good as the data available to the app. I've found routes that grossly overestimate consumption and many more that grossly underestimate it. Routes with minor elevation changes are generally pretty accurate and driving cleanly often results in a better than predicted result (like yours). Mountain passes are just the opposite unfortunately. I've often seen the consumption graph track nicely, then take a big deviation downwards without changing driving style or speeds. My only hypothesis is that the elevation data pulled from Google (I believe) is not accurate in steep terrain.

I spent plenty of time with my original S, learning what a rated km was in terms of Wh/km. Once that was understood, I learned what my typical trips consumed relative to rated and could ensure my charging was adequate. There were a few times in the early days that relying on the prediction would have left me discharged by the side of the snowy highway.

However, so far my impression is that the truck does predictions more accurately than my S...for whatever reason.

Tesla has done an incredible job tuning CT’s efficiency. My Beast’s all time consumption at around 2200 miles is 389 Wh/mi in Sports mode most of the time. I don’t go easy on the throttle and have done a few launches. The biggest range killer is the drag at speeds more than 70 mph. Whenever I have crossed 85+ mph for long distance, the range has dropped significantly. If you are staying less than 70-75 mph, range on the Cybertruck is on dot or could be more! Mine is 313 miles for Beast. I couldn’t have been happier. Love it!!

I’m getting on average 330 to 350 miles on 🔋 95-7% charge. More than expected. Driving in speed limit and 95% FSD. Mostly from home Palm Springs to San Diego and back.

Here were my first 1,400+ miles on all-terrains during a hot NJ summer - 333 Wh/mi. That's over 360 miles of real-world range in hot, sunny conditions.

Oh, and you can see my most recent trip at the top, that's one-way to the NJ shore, 306 Wh/mi.

I think my lifetime average on my 2021 Model S Plaid was 321 Wh/mi. That Cybertruck is within spitting distance of one of the most aerodynamic vehicles on the road, on all-terrain tires to boot, is insane engineering.
