Cybertruck + Lamborghini Countach (Inspiration for CT)

A buddy of mine has a 1983 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 and we took it out for a spin this morning. The Cybertruck's designer, Franz von Holzhausen, said the Countach was one of several inspirations for the truck, along with Lockheed's F-117 Stealth Fighter jet, and the Lotus Esprit from the 1977 James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me. The Countach was my childhood fantasy car (still is) and it's so ironic my 7000 lbs. CT is so much faster!!!

I had the Countach poster on my walls all through the 80's and 90's, always loved that design. The Stealth F117A was my favorite jet, too - so I guess I was destined to be drawn to the Cybertruck! (which is named Nighthawk, after the F117)

The Lambo Countach has and will always be one of my top dream cars…along with the Cybertruck…that I’ll never afford! There’s your irony! Or is it mine?

you will afford the CT one day... sooth in the thought that that day is coming closer... and closer and closer.. this is - among other things - a lesson in patience... only the strong can make it...
