So after seeing the new CT logo in the prototype charge port, I decided to see if I could come up with a design for a wall emblem similar to what I did for the regular Tesla logo. (You can see it on the wall in the picture below.)
Plans are to CNC this from MDF and then just paint it. I typically drill mounting holes on the vertical centerline and then secure the top piece using only strong magnets so they are concealed.
Current size is about 18" wide. Just playing around this from the hotel in Santa Barbara as we relax on our 34th anniversary (it's OK, my wife if doing Christmas crafts!).
What do you all think? Did I get the proportions right? Would it look better with the baseplate notched under the "T" as well?
