Not going through an automatic car wash is crazy. It is a future truck made out of stainless steel and steel ball resistant glass and it can't handle an automatic car wash?
It is a truck, not a luxury vehicle, really hope this is just Tesla being cautious.

At higher temps and higher concentrations ……. One must look at the metallurgical study closely and not simply repeat the word ammonia.

But it's more fun to cause panic, and to pretend conditions exist that would normally require Inconel to resist corrosion.

Yea, they needed some context in there about drying quickly and leaving waterspots.
Reading the exterior guide makes it look like the CT is a show car that can't be driven not a tough truck.
