If Elon can catch a landing spaceship with chopsticks, then his wiper can damn well handle your snowI'm convinced the wiper was a total afterthought and Elon / Tesla engineers have no way to make it optimal given there's no room between the hood and the windshield. That control housing is going to have to be pretty beefy to handle that thing at full speed. In the winter, I HIGHLY doubt that one arm will have enough power to move heavy snow.
Think about it though… the S and S Plaid have the same setup, so maybe it will be the same for the CT.It would most likely only change which dash is installed. The plaid will by definition be different.
Hadn’t thought about that, maybe the wiper smacks bird crap and dragonflies out of the air before they hit the windscreen. If Elon can catch a landing spaceship with chopsticks, then his wiper can damn well handle your snow
That story/rumor was probably not accurate, the TRX seen at the facility was being used as a camera platform for a video, IIRC.Agreed. Tesla designers Benchmarked the ram TRX in development which is a much much larger truck especially in width of what we are seeing here.
If smaller than an F150 it will lose credibility instantly as a viable work truck and get lumped into the Rivian Tacoma category
Making more sense of two size versions Earlier
dont know about that.....it will change the HVAC vents all the way aroundI doubt it. The single screen was a cost-cutting measure to get the Model 3 sold at a somewhat decent price. But EV costs are coming down, including screens, and now there is competition. You can get a Mach E with two screens. All competing trucks will have 2 or more screens. I think all CT's will have 2 (or 3, likely) screens. Deleting them for cheaper models costs more than it's worth.
In fact, I think future model 3's and Y's will have a driver's screen to remain competitive.
clear the windshield before you drive like a smart person and the windshield wiper will never move lots of heavy snow.If Elon can catch a landing spaceship with chopsticks, then his wiper can damn well handle your snow
It may make sense to have a screen in the typical dash position for when it becomes legal to have the side mirrors (user legally removed) replaced with cameras. A good place to place those mirror replacements would be front and center of the driver where you don't have to take your focus off the forward viewing position so much.I doubt it. I'm sorry Ogre I can't do that.Nah, just pop the button to open it for them before they ask.
I wonder if there will be a voice command. “Open the passenger Bay Door Hal”
Hard to discount.dont know about that.....it will change the HVAC vents all the way around
