Is my truck missing a strip? I have a 1/4" gap between the bed floor and the side wall. Worse on the drivers side than passenger. This is toward the front and I can look down through and see the battery. Can anyone else look at theirs and see if I need tesla to fix this?

Also for some reason the button on the mobile charger doesn't work. This is my first tesla, do I need to do a setting to get the truck to respond to the button?

yah mine is the same!

as far as the button make sure your car isn't asleep so press the lid with your hand first let it open.. wait for it to close.. then try a home charger or supercharger button.

usually the home ones are more reliable

luckily you get a 50k mile warranty so put an order in on the tesla app under service if you have any issues!

What about the Mobile Charger isn't working? Are the lights coming on? Have you tried removing the adapter and reinserting it?

The unlock button won't open the butthole and also won't unlock the plug. Not sure if it's the button or the truck . Guess I need to go a supercharger and see if it works there to tell which it is. Also possible I'm misunderstanding how it's supposed to work. My understanding is that I press the button the charge port door is supposed to open? Charger works fine... then to disconnect I press the button and it unlocks the plug?

Press and hold the button on the charger wand. The triangle indicator should turn white. Then you can pull the charger wand out of the "butthole"... ;)

In all seriousness, my charge port behaved strangely at delivery. It wouldn't open, claiming it was already open. It was even struggling to close the door when already closed!

Next time I tried it, after sleeping and/or resetting, it worked fine. 🤷‍♂️

So, a number of possibilities, but were the lights on, on the Mobile Adapter.
The first is, is the Cybertruck unlocked? The charge port won't open if the truck isn't unlocked.
Did you press in on the charging port? It should open automatically if you do so.
Did you try opening the port on the display? On your phone?

Just to help, open the front door to make sure that the Cybertruck is awake and then try it.

It may be locked. I have "walk away lock" enabled, but check the 'exclude home' box since I park in my garage and it leaves it unlocked.

Yes truck is unlocked and charger working green lights. Hold button and nothing happens. I can unlock it with app but weird. Think I will take back the charger.

So once open, if you plug in, does everything work correctly?
Can you push in on the charge port and it opens?

Have you tried charging at a Supercharger? Does it open the port?

The charger port opens when I press on the lid.

It just won't unlock the handle when I press the button. I went supercharger and it unlocks from the button so I think it's just a broken mobile charger.

I just had the same problem today and it looks like it fixed itself later.
