If you think towing a trailer with an ICE does not hit the gas mileage, I have a bridge in San Francisco I want to sell you. My Silverado gets 13 mpg with no trailer. Hook up my 4800# PJ and the mileage drops to 9.
I hear you. My point was the Cybertruck is not a work truck ... yet.

I'm a European reservation holder from Vienna, Austria, and I'm worried if Cybertruck will deliver anytime soon here too.
There are opinions, that it won't make it to Europe because it is only a minor number of overall reservations and that Cybertruck in general has obstacles to getting legal approval.

What are your thoughts about it?

I think there are whole threads on this. It takes years before Tesla gets into overseas markets, so I think it's premature to say one way or the other.

Based on what? The official specs aren't even available. Internet speculation and "leaks" don't count.

But based on all that, if an F150 is a work truck, so be the Cybertruck ... arrrggg

We got the Highland before even the US will get it (I get mine next week) - but the CT is another caliber, of course...

Well, you're basically in the same 'region', from Tesla's point of view, as China.

And the Highland isn't a new production line, really.

It's not all too bad to be in the same region as the largest and fastest-growing market for EVs.

That is completely clear to me - that is what I meant by "another caliber".

125k on standby? That would be awesome but not the situation.

The 125k though is the projected ramp for 2024. 2023 the word is maybe 100 get into the hands of non Tesla employees and influencers.
100 in 1 / 1.25 months?

If you think they'll have 100 trucks this month, and they plan to double production every month, then in ten months they'll hit their initial goal production.

Which... Is unsustainable, sure, but that's kind of how ramps work, with fits and starts.
