This truck has the tailgate cap trim piece missing, as seen in several other sitings

appears they also have painters tape holding something down in that same area.

and is that some larger trim piece in the bed of the truck?

Why on earth wouldn’t you get out of your car and go talk to the guys while taking pictures and video 🤷‍♂️
You didn't see the marine guarding the truck on the other side? Wouldn't want to sneak up behind the guard when they are in the defense position.

Does it look like the passenger side mirror is attached to the pillar and not to the door?

With the door open, it looks like the side mirror is still oriented as if the door itself was closed.

That would make sense, because like on a supercar, I think it's mounted to the a-pillar and not the door.

The mirror is attached to the door still, its just folded while the door is open. Not something you typically see other than maybe the car wash.

Either the left rear cabin window is down or the cab's rear vault window is down. Wonder which it is...

Hopefully not a requirement to get in… those folding mirrors are some of the first things to get stuck in cold climates on Teslas…

If you did sneek up to talk/video, you might scare the piss of him, he'll either piss over himself or get you sprayed. :D

Maybe the back tail light fell off and is trying to jerry-rig it in place.

Marines have better things to do. Cybertrucks don’t need no stinking protection.
