Too soonYeah, but where would the fifth person have sat?
that's definitely truein the back seat. ?? the CT can take 5 people just not 6
The Rivian's is nicely netted in the right places to let the brake lights through too.Hopefully Tesla has plans to make a tailgate pad. Rivian did a good implementation https://rivian.com/gear-shop/p/rivian-tailgate-pad
'FRUNK-IN' the Fifth!!!!!Yeah, but where would the fifth person have sat?
We should have the technology by now to 'Beam Me Up', at least for Captain Kirk!that's definitely true
what remains to be seen is whether it "takes 5 people" like an F150, or like a Rivian
answer: much more like a Rivian
Afraid the bikes might take damage from the truck?Hopefully Tesla has plans to make a tailgate pad. Rivian did a good implementation https://rivian.com/gear-shop/p/rivian-tailgate-pad
This table won't apply to the truck. The X's aero envelope would be completely different, these bikes aren't completely out of it unlike those on an X.Hey, what should we do for a visual PR run today... I have some bikes. Well, let's go drive around in secret.
P.S. Truth be told my X uses a lot extra kW with two bikes in the rack due to areo so I guess they could be doing energy testing

A bike rack is BRUTAL for efficiency. At the speeds below I would normally get
350 Wh/Mile but with a single bike on that trip I was getting an average of
529 Wh/Mile. Said another way 1.5 worse.
Via TeslaFI data below.
66% of normal = 350/529
151% more than normal (529/350)
529 Wh/Miles = (484+596+508)/3
