That’s cool and not unreasonable. Although I wouldn’t trust myself to not make mistakes. And the DIY kits from what I hear don’t have enough to account for redoing an area.
I already had it done by professionals, but, better to save money with this option if you know what you’re doing and have a tolerance of mistakes.

Still prepping the wife to let me attempt another DYI kit after the first one came out looking like crap..
Tell her I said you can do it! I had never wrapped anything before in my life and tried this and I knew anyone could do it. What specifically did you have trouble with, and why did it ”look like crap”?

Pattern has some appeal from certain distances and angles, but I think the pattern size chosen is rather busy and of course very repetitive when looking at the whole truck. If using a pattern such as this, I would suggest one that has generated pattern parts randomly, instead of one that looks like it came out of a photo shop brush stuck in clone mode, or appearing like one of those Autostereograms or eye puzzles popular in the 90s. There is also the need to avoid appearances of a vehicle wearing pajamas, and with patterns having directional trends one might consider mirror symmetry for each side of the vehicle.

I think the first two images with parts of the doors, fender and frunk lid portions look the best, but the vault tailgate not so much because of the larger area revealing what I mention above.

So I believe there is potential in the type pattern chosen, but it needs some implementation work and refinement IMHO. I think randomness in the pattern would help some.
