After All the Planning & Design they missed the windshield wiper.

It wouldn't be able to clean the driver's top portion of the glass if it's over there. See your current passenger's windshield for an example.
Anyhow, Elon said it's not the final version, so don't stress about it.

If the BAW was on the passenger side:

1. It wouldn't clean the driver's side of the window.
2. It would block more of the driver's view.

Instead of hiding behind the airbag of the A-pillar, it would stick out and block view of pedestrians crossing from the near side of the road.

Nice wiper on that '96 Only issue I see is the $3,000. replacement part on that over engineered single wiper on the Tesla. ( If it gets damaged)

It can't go on the passenger side because the rain wiping arc wouldn't be sufficient for the driver.

I, for one, enjoy saying the BFW enough to give it a pass, and I certainly like it more then the chunky boi tailgate (BFT). Production will probably be thinner. I was hoping for a vertical wiper that slid horizontally on 2 electro-magnetic rails.

Thanks for the share. I am fine with the Beta wiper seen today. It needs to be vertical.

The difference is the Mercedes wiper retracts and extends on each pass. 4 movements on a complete cycle.

The CT extends in one direction and then retracts on the return for 2 movements on a complete cycle.

While it is bigger it should be a little less problematic than the MB. Single cam vs double cam?? I am not sure how it works.
