I can't wait to see the first comparisons of turn radius... Put an F-150 and Cybertruck through the same tight curve course and show how they do. The wheelbase of the Cybertruck is longer than an equivalent F-150 IIRC. I'm hopeful that the Cybertruck will still outmaneuver it.

There are some other maneuvers that I'll also be curious to see either confirmed or denied. Like diamond turn and crab walk.

True comparison would be between the Hummer EV and the CT. I'm aware of the differences in the wheel base, it's just I'm interested to see which one does it better... Crab, maneuver, tank movements etc.

Thanks for sharing the video. No tag on it. Driving inside TeslaTX? From here in my recliner I have no relative scale to determine turn radius. Yup, rear wheels move / turn.
Like the rest; hoping for stats and prices - all in due time I’m sure.

Why? The Hummer isn't a truck, and has a short wheelbase. It only shares wheel... nope, doesn't even that.

Looks like under the Petersen.

Because it's the only vehicle out there with similar functionality. Like I said, I am aware of the differences, but I would love to see how each vehicle utilizes their technology. In that they do compare.

But how would that inform us about the utility of having four wheel steering (4ws) in the Cybertruck?

What would it say at all?

I think Tesla decided to go with 4WS when they unloaded the prototype in NYC back in '21 and it needed to perform a 3-point-turn just to turn around on the street. Its turning radius with 2WS is very poor.

I'm looking at the responsiveness and any delays, how they choose to use what they have to make things happen... more of a apples to orange comparison in vehicles but a "how smart are they..." in the technical sense. Talking actuators, drive by wire, etc. Guess I could be considered geeking it out right now, but that's a showdown I want to see.

That's implementation, and we wouldn't need to see them side by side for that. First principles, not just stats. Sure, the Hummer may have more turn angle on the rear wheels... But it doesn't have the wheelbase or hauling capacity.

What really matter is 'can it carry alot of stuff' and 'can it do that and the moose test'.
