With the latest update (2025.38.3) my backup camera became all pixelated and looks pretty bad, the rest of the cameras seem to hove much better video quality now. I've tried rebooting the truck with two buttons on the wheel, but that changed nothing. Anybody else observing that?

Maybe try:

To perform a hard reboot on a Tesla Cybertruck, put the vehicle in Park, navigate to Controls > Safety > Power Off on the touchscreen, and wait at least two minutes after the system has shut down completely before pressing the brake pedal to wake it up

I have the same issue with my backup camera after the new update 2025.38.3.2
Image quality is like 720P and pixelated now. Have you had it fixed? Tried resetting as well.

Did you do a hard reboot, and also confirm it's not zoomed in? if you tap on the rear view part of the display, you have 3 levels of zoom.

Yes did the power off. The issue is not with the rearview camera near the top of the screen. It is the big display when you reverse or press the camera button that shows the rear which you cannot zoom in and out.

thanks, it’s not the rear view mirror that we have on the big screen, but rather a rear camera from the view when you're backing up the truck, like say when you want to park it.

i got another update and did a few reboots. The camera still works poorly, i can compare it to the noise you'd get when the ISO is way too high and there's this random noise is popping up everywhere.

if i'm the only one getting this by now, its probably the time for me to ping the service center

We have the same issue so maybe it is software related hopefully.

So I went to a service center with this, funny enough, they gave me a CT for a loaner with 28miles on the clock, and it had the exact same low image quality for the backup camera.

Going through my complaints, they just marked it as "won't fix"/"wiped the dirt off of camera" and gave it back to me.

I'm still sure I've had a much better / crisper image for the backup camera before, and I've pulled my old Sentry videos, current videos from the -back camera are recorded in 1448x938pixels, and the older videos I've got are 2896x1876 - so twice the size by each axis. I see the change happening sometime in between 10/10 and 10/15, I wonder if this has to do with the b-pillar cameras update that we'ver got some time around that date.

Has anybody else noticed that problem? Have you tried reaching out to an SC with that?
