Have we developed a CONSUMER CHECKLIST for when we pick up our new CT?

Maybe current owners have some “I wish I would have looked at this” recommendations that could be shared with those of us about to receive our new CT.

Things that need to be mentioned BEFORE you leave the SC or Delivery site.

All you need to determine while on-site is if you are going to keep or reject the truck. Confirm with the delivery advisor and you can probably create a Service Request with any cosmetic items within 24 hours. Maintenance items are maintenance and can be handled as you would any maintenance item.

The truck is going to be clean, but not really clean. Do a quick look around for any glaring items and then just enjoy the delivery experience.

Creating a 200 item checklist is only going to sour the delivery experience for you.

Make sure that you watch all the videos shown in the app. And the delivery experience even suggests that you may not even see a person during your delivery experience.

Check the bumpers closely.
Took me a week to figure out my front was in an accident! Was putting on some trim preservation with a rag and saw a scratch and something bumped out. Front end was hit hard enough that it pushed as some hardware out of place underneath.
Fortunately, we had photos at delivery that shows the damage on pickup day.
So take lots of photos!
Second, check your VIN. My buddy picked up his Cybertruck and was driving in it when his app said his truck was now charged and 3 doors were open. They gave him someone else's vehicle during delivery. He had to return it and take delivery again!

Great list, but it's not a check list for delivery.
For example, how do I check the Charge port and verify that each color light comes on?
Am I supposed to check that the 120V/240V outlets exist or that they work? How would you test the 240V outlet?
Why would I test for a Stainless Steel hood?
I'm pretty sure that they aren't going to allow you to drive it until you have accepted it.

240 outlet check? Well, I could bring an oven and make cookies for the service center. My attempt at a dad joke.

(epic checklist)
Hey JCyber2024, I hope you don't mind, but I used your checklist as a base and then expanded it. Here's the revised checklist.

Please let me know if you have any objection to adding to what you started.

The Cybertruck is going to be the most expensive thing I've ever bought other than my home, and so I'm really going to go over it at delivery with a fine-toothed comb.

If paying via wire transfer, is that transfer made on delivery day? The reason I ask is because wire transfers can take a day to finalize.
