Hello All,
So what is the latest speculation as to which motor configuration comes first, second, last?
When will they start rolling out?
Thanks,
Thomas

We don't know yet which models will be first.

Most likely it will be a mix of dual and tri with certain options that have yet to be announced or priced.

Dual is what the prototype was and will be their best profit to cost. It's been mentioned many times as first.

Tri will use twice as many batteries, so if their supply is constrained, so will the stream of tri-motors.

Single is the least profitable initially, they will want to not be supply constrained to build them. It took almost three years to get there for the Model 3 but they got there in 9 months with the Y.

Tesla will email us when the configurator comes online.
