DIY Vinyl Wrapping. The Cybertruck was made for it. Albeit not on purpose.

I predicted three things upon the reveal of the CT four years ago. 1. They would get rid of the hubcaps (wrong). They would make the mirrors removable and it would come with an optional color wrap (Henry Ford would be proud). For $1000.00 300 square ft. of 3M 2080 top tier wrap can be purchased in any color (carbon fiber add 30%). The most difficult part of wrapping is curves which the CT has none. If you have a roomy shop and some help, the process takes patients but is very rewarding. There should be plenty leftover material for mistakes and future repair. Use the $5,000+ saved for other upgrades like FSD or pink fur lined dash and a Texas long horn hood ornament.

my thoughts exactly! I wrapped my motorcycle with lots of curves, especially on the tank. round things are hard to wrap, but I'm excited to dig in and wrap my CT. Should be pretty easy with a couple buddies, pizza, and a case of beer ;)

Agreed, wrapping this would be a pleasure…at least compared to my daughter’s mini I did in matte black last year (nightmare learning to do hood).

I remenber mentioning on another post that tesla price tag for a wrap was absolutely insane considering how easy this will be on the CT.

Plasti Dip is even easier and cheaper. Check out DipYourCar.com, website and YouTube channel.

Lasts a couple years, longer if doesn't bake in the sun every day. Can spray new coats over top of different color or designs. When tired of it, just peel it off. Very easy DIY, I sprayed my Avalanche multiple times, my Jeep Wrangler, and my Mustang Copper metalflake with flat black racing stripe.

I will definitely do my CT, initially flat black with stainless bat symbol showing. Maybe switch up to Electric Blue Metalflake or Gold Metalflake. Or maybe a giant 3-headed beast on the frunk!
