Do we really expect order to be filled in *roughly* the RN# (so long as you spring for the highest end?)

I have a pretty low number, and intend to go top spec, but wonder what the likelihood is that they’ll stick to the RN order.

I have no reason to think they shouldn’t except for perhaps setting low expectations for myself and that this will be my first Tesla (so not a returning customer).

Live in SoCal, so while it’s not TX, not quite the hinterlands either.

Enjoying the heck out of my Lightning while I wait.

I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t stick with RN order.

They already have a queue. What would be the point of creating some new queue based on ???

Exactly my thought, but recall seeing posts over the years with people stating that Tesla didn’t necessarily stick to it with other models. I expect there will be various connected people who get to jump the line, but hoping it does largely go in the RN order.

I think they stuck to it pretty close with previous models. There is some grouping due to location, but in general people with a spot around 5,000 in the queue should see their trucks before people at 10,000 in the queue.

I think the bigger question is going to be timing on launch models and maybe pricing. Everyone will have the option, but maybe some won’t be happy with launch model selection and pricing and will opt to wait.

For example, maybe initial vehicle is a quad motor truck at $90k. (Not a prediction there)
