Doing more truck stuff - towing Horse Trailer

Used the CT this weekend to move a horse. 100% charge to 0% we went 160 miles. Normally could get ~300 depending on who's driving. 60mi were with the horse in the trailer. This was in Indiana so pretty much flat and I was driving pretty conservatively w/o the horse and very carefully with the horse. Pretty much keeping it at the speed limit the whole trip.

Because it's addicted to getting a face full of exhaust fumes the whole trip? It must have realized the Cybertruck didn't have a tailpipe!

Do you have your trip specs? Saw somewhere else this same kind of post (hauling 2 horse trailer with only 1 horse in it and tack) and they said they 'only' got 200 miles. I wouldn't think that much about the difference except that OP said only 60 miles were with a horse IN the trailer...

Technically, that is a "stock" trailer carrying a horse and NOT a "horse" trailer.

I wish I had been better about setting and recording the trip stats for the different segments of the trip. Sorry all, miss on my part.

The weight doesn't matter as much as the aero and how the trailer brakes are set up. The open air slats are not ideal from a drag perspective, it's like a parachute. The rolling resistance and alignment of the trailer tires matter too, just as they do on the tow vehicle.
