Nice! I've always wanted to test ride the LiveWire...how do you like it?
I love(d) the Livewire. (I just sold it which is why I was transporting it to Santa Fe where an artist by the name of Clayton Porter bought it.)

Nimble, quick, lots of tech and different driving modes, low center of gravity, heavy batteries makes it top out at 690 pounds, but every single one is a testament to driving an incredible road machine.

My kid was the main daily user but he is off at college where it snows and I needed room in my garage.

I’d say go test drive one. It handled a lot like a Ducati cafe racer that I used to have. Just sweetness in smooth acceleration and nimble. Loved both of those damned bikes!

Hit the track and made a friend. CT was great with wheel chock mounted to plywood for first attempt at a mounting solution too.

Nice to hear about your setup.

Did you also put the ramp in the bed when transporting to the track?

I’ll be taking my track bike (Aprilia RSV4 Factory) to the track this year in the CT and have been planning out all the stuff I need and how to mount it. My thinking is to use my Baxley Sport Chock but just place it on a piece of plywood.

Also need to get two ramps to load and unload the bike, and probably just use tow down straps to keep everything in the bed and not slide out the back.

Nice! I’m thinking of the exact same setup. Could you please share closeup picture of the front wheel chock mounted on the plywood? What ramp did you use to mount the bike? Thanks! ?

Basic setup but it was very stable for the 3 Hr drive, no issues. I just countersunk the bolt heads so they wouldn’t scrape on the bed.

For the ramp I have a Moto-D Ramp, and I just threw it in the backseat w seats up.

Don't you generally want to compress the shocks so it doesn't bounce? My spouse usually handles this stuff so...

Correct - OP should use soft ties routed to the handlebar attachment point. This isn’t gonna work well under hard barking.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I’ll put the Motorcycle without the platform and see whether I really need to build one like this.

Or you can compress by using a soft tie around the lower triple tree, which is what I do. I just hope the angle to the tie down anchor won’t rub on the fairing.

Agreed. I’ve trailered a lot of bikes with similar chocks (currently have three), and always compress the front suspension about 25% - sometimes at the handlebars center, sometimes at the lower triple tree, depending on bike setup. Some folks seem to think that longer is better for ratchet straps, which isn’t true. But it is true that the strap connections should always be to suspended parts of the bike, not the wheels or lower suspension bits.

Hahaha. Made me laugh b/c I was going to post similar with a ERide Pro SS and a heavily modified KLX110 pit bike that is more like a 200cc now...lol
