I hope it has everyday usable features which get highlighted at some point. How much storage, interior features, range, suspension types, wheel / tire combos, etc. Seems like all we’re getting is the extreme case features.

If you do drive it into a lake, you probably should record it and get some clicks.

I take Elon very seriously. I understand that he speaks aspirationally and that not everything he talks about always works out, but everything he talks about gets worked on.

If it in fact floats for any useable amount of time, I'm going to get tire chains and modify them with some hinged paddles that can fold at 6 O'clock to reduce drag after the power stroke. Anyone handy with a mig will be able to manufacture such a device. Very inexpensive to make. Slap em' on & off in no time. Will be interesting to see the different multiple designs that show up. Don't forget, your not going to be water skiing behind it, or will we? Can't wait to find out!

Agree with most of what you say. But I don’t think this last bit is true.

Musk mentions a lot of things casually which people misinterpret as promises or actual features.

Nothing in Musks comment suggests Tesla is working on a propeller or special water wheels so I seriously doubt they are spending time on it.

Are you saying the CT is never going to be made or a marine version of the CT won't be made? You're from Michigan so I understand your distaste for EVs instead of good ole gas guzzlers but the CT is being made.
