NO secret I love this truck! I own a fleet of vehicles and can drive almost any truck I want from F150 to F450 and even large box trucks. This silly vehicle has ruined me on them all. I have never had a vehicle draw so much attention, 99% is very positive. I have wrapped it and take it to St. Jude in Memphis on the regular to show the kiddos there. I love seeing the kiddos faces when they learn that not only can they get their picture with it, but they can also sit in and play video games. My daughter says it is the ugliest car she has ever seen, but she is 16, doesn't know any better and happened to choose it to take her driving test in.

The only complaint I can really make about the car is that after a few years of ownership, I still don't have ACTUALLY SMART SUMMMON! I realize Elon is busy, but it is time. I may be naĆÆve, but I also believe he pays attention to the goings on of this forum. What do you think of each of us ending our post with a simple message like the one below.... maybe if enough of us do it we might get bumped up on the priority list. Thoughts? (I can hear the haters sharpening their knives now. ) Solidarity.... :)

Sincerely,

Darick D. Hemphill

Tesla might not have enough telemetry on the truck to feel safe letting the public use A.S.S. They have millions of Y and 3 out in the wild compared to just 50k trucks. Don't hold your breath. They've got plenty to work to do on this first gen model.

ASS will be on the CT once they add it to the FSD stack. ASS on the other models is based on AP.

There are many rumors that new Summon (banish, etc) is ready or almost ready. It will probably go to S3XY first then the CT.

There is zero reason we do not have dumb summon on the Cybertruck yet. I can understand the complexity with smart summon on steer by wire and rear wheel steering but moving the vehicle forward or backward in a tight parking spot should be very simple.

Really tired of seeing comments on CT not having ASS available, I have used it a few times on my MY and I donā€˜t see it being a feature I would rely on To use. Last time I used it (while showing off to my friends), car stopped in middle of parking lot lane, I had to go get the car. Unless it is raining, I don’t mind the exercise to walk to my parked car. Can we give it a rest and let Tesla engineers work on more important features, like Full FSD.

Maybe it is a party trick for some, but for me it is very useful. I have regularly thought, ā€œman this situation calls for summonā€ and I second the request for even dumb summon. Sometimes people park to close, and while I don’t worry about the Cybertruck getting dinged, I would like to not have to squeeze into an opening the size of a twig.

Once the cybertaxi ability comes, that's the real value. I want my truck to pick me up in front of a busy venue.

If they make it so you can just tap a button and summon it from the far end of the Costco parking lot, then I'd be interested. Otherwise, it really is a gimmick and anxiety inducing.

The first time I saw this feature was on an ICE Hyundai, like six or seven years ago!

So because it's not useful for you, no one should talk about it? Got it.

I want banish more than I want ASS, but both would be preferable. Drop me off and go find a parking spot, no matter how far away you need to go. Then come pick me up when I’m done.

I’m really looking forward to the day I can go to the airport, have my CT drive home. Then I can summon it back to the airport when I return and save me hundreds in parking per month.
